CHARLTON Athletic have wished George Dobson “all the best” ahead of a proposed move to Hungarian side Fehérvár – and confirmed a new deal for Tyreece Campbell.
The Addicks confirmed their retained list on Friday, with Richard Chin, Michael Hector, Diallang Jaiyesimi, Jack Payne, Terell Thomas, Lewis Ward, Kazenga LuaLua and Connor Wickham set to depart The Valley this summer.
Charlton have offered a new long-term contract to Thierry Small.
Dobson struck an agreement in February to move to Hungary this summer.
“Charlton made a number of contract offers to George Dobson pre- and post-Christmas. The midfielder has signed a pre-contract agreement with Hungarian club Fehérvár,” the club said.
“Everyone at the club would like to thank every player who is leaving for their efforts during their time at Charlton and wish them the very best of luck for the future.
“In particular, the club would like to thank George Dobson, who has played 144 games for Charlton since joining in 2021. He’s given his all for the club in every training session and every game and everyone at the club wishes him all the best in Hungary.”
