FORMER Ireland under-21 international and Aston Villa midfielder Samir Carruthers was the headline signing as Dulwich Hamlet confirmed a trio of new recruits over the weekend.
Carruthers, 33, has joined from Isthmian League Premier Division rivals Dartford.
Islington-born Carruthers started his career at Aston Villa where he made three Premier League appearances.
He has played in the Championship, League One and League Two for MK Dons, Sheffield United, Oxford United and Cambridge United.
Carruthers, who won ten caps for Ireland under-21s, has made 391 career appearances and scored 35 goals.
The Hamlet have added to their defence with the signing of left-back Ibrahim Bangura, who started last season at Hayes & Yeading before moving to Raynes Park Vale in the Isthmian South Central.
Versatile defender Kyron McKay has joined from Wingate & Finchley. He helped the side win the Velocity Cup against Ramsgate in April.
McKay come through Millwall’s academy and lives a stones throw from Champion Hill.
He can play as a centre-back or right-back.
