GARY Rowett has been on a recent trip to Holland to watch games – and he said Millwall are always on the look-out for “interesting options” overseas.
The Lions struck gold last summer when they recruited Zian Flemming from Fortuna Sittard, the attacker scoring 15 goals last season.
Rowett and the recruitment team are also looking beyond UK shores this summer.
“I think there are always interesting options, it’s trying to find the right type of player for the right type of position,” Rowett said.
“There’s always an element of, they have to come into that Millwall mentality and that ethos that we want to build the culture around.
“At the same time, you can’t limit any market. You have to give yourself the best possible options all the time. That’s the aim of the recruitment team to do that.”
