South Londoners are being invited to explore games, graphic design and virtual reality projects created by graduates at the London College of Communication (LCC) next weekend.
‘LCC Shows 2023: Show Two – Design and Screen’ will take place from June 14 to 17 at the university’s Elephant and Castle home.
Kene Igweonu, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of College at London College of Communication, said: “Our students represent the next generation of innovators and changemakers in the creative industry, and I’m delighted to be able to welcome local residents, partners, and groups to see their work in person.
“We hope this showcase will give people from across the local area and industry a glimpse into the kinds of innovative work produced by students at the College, and a chance to celebrate their hard work, vision, and achievement.”
The shows are part of LCCs ongoing programme of public events and work with local Southwark communities.
These programmes have seen students working with local charities and community groups to create free films, photography, and branding.
Previous graduates from LCC include theatre director Kwame Kwei-Armah, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Bimini Bon Boulash, ITV News and Loose Women presenter Charlene White and games writer Rhianna Pratchett.
