NEW Charlton signing Chem Campbell hopes his attacking instincts will impress The Valley faithful after joining on loan from Wolves for the season.
The 20-year-old will bring versatility to Dean Holden’s side in the final third, as although primarily a winger he is able to play in any forward position.
And Campbell can’t wait to get started in SE7, telling supporters they will like what they see from him in the coming campaign.
He said: “I would say the style of play is my style of football – attacking and getting at players. I just want to impress and help the team.
“I look to attack one-v-one and try and score goals and get assists, which I see as my job.
“As long as I can bring that I think the fans will be happy.
“It’s a new challenge and I want to take it and push on.”
Campbell is no stranger to League One having spent the second half of last season on loan at Wycombe, scoring three goals in 12 appearances for the Chairboys.
And he also possesses Premier League experience having represented parent club Wolves a handful of times.
Charlton manager Holden said: “Chem is an exciting young attacker, who can play across the forward line.
“He has plenty of pace and the ability to beat a player and made good progress last season playing games in the Premier League for Wolves, along with a positive loan at Wycombe Wanderers.
“He is a good finisher who can create and score goals. He will add a lot of quality to our front line.”
