Annie is a Black Caribbean Artist living and working in London. She works mainly in ceramics creating hand-built figurative vessels and sculptures based on natural themes and personal experience.
Her Layers exhibition includes collaborative work with Carolyn Dickens:
“For the last ten years I have been exploring/creating mixed media wall hangings and sculptures using found objects from land and sea.

For the last year, I have been working with my close friend and contributing creative, Carolyn Dickens, who has macular degeneration. Although her sight is now limited, she has an amazing memory of colours. We use our fingertips, texture, structures and forms to see through touch, adding colours remembered. Exploring artwork with Carolyn has been fascinating, educating and inspiring”.
Artdog Gallery, 23 Brockley Rise, London, SE23 1JG The exhibition will run from September 5th – 31st.
Opening event on September 4th 6-8pm.
