Alvin Cheng is a self-taught illustrator living in London who focuses on urban sketching.
Cheng stresses the relationship between creativity, craft and well being, especially relating to the information/digital age.
“I love travelling overseas and exploring different things in a city especially architecture and landscape. I also started learning to sketch a decade ago and decided to make it when travelling since 2015. I draw during a visit to a place. The sketching experience provides me a great chance to observe the architectures, humans and landscapes as well as their relationships”.
Alvin will be exhibiting and selling a series of urban drawings and prints that include many aspects of South London.
