Riccardo Matlakas is an internationally acclaimed artist whose work spans various mediums, including street art, painting, mosaic, installation, and performance art. He is currently working on “Art4Sea,” a project funded by the European Union aimed at protecting our oceans.
In his paintings and tile mosaics, Matlakas reflects on the connections humans make throughout their lives — sometimes profound, sometimes less so.
As a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary artist, Matlakas envisions a future society where humans evolve into fully functioning, non-violent beings.
Each artwork in this exhibition carries deep meaning, reflecting on human actions and interactions with the world. Themes of human connection, food, technology, war, and nature are all present, offering a journey through his artistic vision.
