London Bubble is opening its doors to six underserved early-career theatre makers living in the capital.

The MAKE SPACE! festival will provide a free platform for 18-30s to practice their craft as well as showcasing their work to fellow theatre fans and professionals at an in-house end-of-week sharing.

Based in Bermondsey, London Bubble has historically supported the early careers of famed British actors including Andy Serkis, Noma Dumezweni and Brenda Blethyn and continues to advocate and support talented individuals from marginalised backgrounds to pursue a career in the Arts.

Marie Vickers, Artistic Director of London Bubble said about the free festival, “The elitism of arts can only be undone with festivals like MAKE SPACE! so we’re proud to be offering that window of hope to so many, historically left behind. It’s with thanks to our supporters and the talent who apply that we can look forward to a more diverse, inclusive and representative culture of arts in London and beyond.”

MAKE SPACE! is a six-week festival taking place from the 21st October to 29th November.

Audiences can book free tickets via the London Bubble website and will be encouraged to provide the artists with feedback.
