The collected works of Charles ‘Bronson’ Salvador
Lily Selavie Gallery announced a display of the collected works of Charles ‘Bronson’ Salvador, a world-renowned artist and prisoner. Infamous for his controversial incarnation, his work is a reflection of his life behind bars, an eclectic array of emotions and experiences of life inside the British prison system.

To many, a life sentence would be a death knell of hopelessness. Salvador expertly shuns this through his art, showing his love of life in every stroke and smudge, often in bizarre and wonderful collages of quotation, character, and animated scene. It is his passion for the physical that, for many, underlies and often underestimates Charlie’s strength of mind and spirit against adversity.
The show – ‘Life of a Lifer’ – will debut at a private view on 12th February 2026, 6PM to 9PM.
An open exhibition will follow from 13th February to 12th March 2026, with doors open from 12:30PM to 6PM.
Admission to both events is restricted to ticket holders only, with day passes available on the door during the open exhibition dates.
