Following their acclaimed winter season 2024, acapella choir, the London International Choir (LIC), is returning to St. James’ Church, Bermondsey for one night only.
Their summer concert with the theme of ‘Into the Unknown,’ promises to delight and surprise Bermondsey music lovers.
The 50 strong choir known for its rich harmonies and diverse, exciting repertoire, is unique in London for covering a breadth of genres from around the world: from folk to jazz, to pop and musical theatre.

The summer concert will feature never-before-performed in the UK pieces, as well as reworkings of popular music. Songs the choir will perform include: a haunting Romanian folksong and a vocal arrangement of Burt Bacharach’s bossa nova inspired, ‘South American Getaway,’ from Oscar-winning classic film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
The concert will also feature ‘Into the Unknown’ from Disney’s Frozen 2, arranged for the choir by Musical Director Julian Mohr.
LIC President Casandra Petrea said:
“We’re delighted to be returning to St. James’ Church. The venue is lovely and we are really looking forward to sharing these songs with our friends and neighbours, fans of acapella and Londoners looking for a fun Friday night.”
Previously, the choir has performed at a range of venues and events from the Southbank Centre choir festival to the Swiss embassy winter celebration.
