South London Louie is delighted to welcome Chef Tom Geoffrey of Barang Cambodian Street Kitchen for a six-week evening chef residency.
Customers should expect hot, sour, salty, bitter & sweet flavours throughout the menu, punchy dipping sauces and aromatic/fiery curries.
Tom’s menu will also celebrate his passion for fire cooking and Cambodian BBQ, which will include smoked meats, grilled seafood & skewers.
Influenced by his previous trips to Cambodia and the street kitchens of Phnom Penh & Siem Reap, Tom’s six-week residency at South London Louie will see a menu balancing traditional Cambodian/Khmer flavours alongside the best seasonal produce from the UK.
South London Louie is the fourth venue by the Louie Louie group opened in January 2023 within the beautiful confines of the South London Gallery.
Cafe by day and hosting supper clubs by night, the move to also include evening Chef Residencies follows the success of a similar programme that was running for seven years at Louie Louie in the Walworth Road.
