Fringe at The Glitch

VAULT Creative Arts is thrilled to announce Fringe at The Glitch, a brand-new season of transfers direct from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Expect bold solo work, riotous dark comedies, and unforgettable stories that pack a punch.

CHOKESLAM

A knockout solo show about one woman’s love of pro wrestling.

Part confessional, part exuberant oral history of sports entertainment’s greatest matches and most loved characters. Riotously funny, unexpectedly touching, brilliantly human. You will leave a wrestling fan.

After a critically acclaimed debut, Chokeslam returns to finish what it started: emotionally body-slamming audiences with one of the most surprising and heartfelt solo shows of the year.

misSfits

Meet Miss Elliot – your favourite primary school teacher. Today’s learning objective…To understand the term ‘baby gay’.

Incorporating real-life perspectives and voices from the queer community, misSfits focuses on the voices of the “baby gays” and how after coming out they must try to navigate this new community in which they still feel alien to themselves.

Through the eyes of Miss Elliot and primary school nostalgia, misSfits transports us into that familiar classroom as past students find their true selves. All whilst Miss Elliot reminisces and reflects on their own sense of identity and self.

Pour Decisions

A cabaret bar. Dead end job. An awful lot of Pour Decisions. This is a dive bar like no other.

Toilets so backed up they resemble lasagne, cheap vodka in branded bottles and two members of staff who have gotten themselves into a predicament. It’s the morning after a wild work party and Frankie has awoken with no recollection of the night before. Where has everyone gone? Have her actions had irreversible consequences? Can she clean up her mess before this evening’s shift?

Direct from its Edinburgh run, this dark comedy follows Frankie and Jess as they uncover what has happened.

The Glitch, 134 Lower Marsh, London, SE1 7AE.
