The Churchill Theatre opens its doors for a fantastic four-day festival of music, theatre, dance, comedy and workshops.
There is something to please everyone, as we kick off with a Summer Showcase on Thursday evening, with performances from the Churchill Singers and Act 2 drama class.
Also on Thursday is a StandUp Showcase, featuring comedy acts taking to the stage for the first time with fresh new material, and supported by fantastic Comedy MC Carly Smallman and a surprise act!

Friday 14th is all about music as 5 new bands, plus BYMT Rock School and Rock Choir play at the annual big music hub gig BandFest in partnership with Arts Train and BYMT.
Saturday will be a fantastic Theatre Double Bill of new writing “Behind Closed Curtains” and “ (Circle Dreams Around) The Terrible Terrible Past – fresh from the National Theatre Connections Festival. Performed by the talented Young Companies this will be a fantastic evening of lively and enjoyable theatre.
The festival closes with a packed Sunday of events: start the day with a special MC Comedy Workshop, hosted by none other than Carly Smallman where you get to find out tricks and tips to make public speaking and presenting a breeze; this is followed by Pass it On in the Studio Space; performed and presented by Yellowcoat Theatre who will host an evening of monologues and new writing celebrating women and people from under-represented groups.

On the main stage you can finish the night with Danceboxxx, the festival that celebrates a wide range of dance styles and ages from groups all around the borough. A true celebration and an uplifting way to spend a Sunday evening.
