Fans of Blur, Oasis, Pulp, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Charlatans, James, Ocean Colour Scene, Supergrass, Cast and Kula Shaker are in for a treat as a brand-new film and live music experience premieres at the Mick Jagger Centre, Dartford, this Friday, April 12.
Indie Explosion is the brainchild of theatre show producer Gavin Skelhorn of PNP Events, who says: “Combining classic video, banging anthems and live music, this concert show is guaranteed to totally twist your melons, as it takes you back to the heights of the indie explosion.
“It’s time to return to the ‘Let’s be Havin’ It 90s’ – with a brand-new concept fronted by Onside Britpop. They’re a band that pays huge attention to detail, while resurrecting the unique energy of this amazing time.”
Indie Explosion features archive footage of the era. It promises to “perfectly complement an incredible night of the biggest indie hits of all time”.
Park life, Sit Down, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Disco 2000 and Step On are among more than 20 hit songs performed live in concert.
