On Tuesday 13 February Greenwich Market visitors will get the chance toss pancakes and then two days later watch a fashion show – all for free.
Marking Shrove Tuesday, the celebrations will sizzle from 11am to 4.30pm, where they will be raising funds for Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice.
Hosted by a Cockney Pearly King and Queen it will feature pancake races, where the public compete alongside Market traders while flipping pancakes in frying pans.

On Friday 16 February the market’s creatives will be proudly strutting to coincide with the first London Fashion Week.
The two-hour fashion extravaganza from 2pm – 4pm will give designers and creators the chance to flaunt their wares, and keen-eyed clothes hunters the chance to snap up something different.
