Following the success of last year and a Covid absence of 2 years, Brixton’s leafy Josephine Avenue will again host the annual Urban Art event.

One of the exhibiting artists, Martin Grover, who has been a regular at this event, says: ‘A cornucopia of fine art will be on display so I hope you will be able to drop by and say hello.’

The organisers have stated, ‘We’re very pleased to have so many returning artists this year at Urban Art 2023, plus our usual charity partners raising money for local good causes.

‘But it’s not just about the art! The fair also offers plenty of opportunities for you to connect with the creatives behind the work. You’ll have the chance to chat with the talented artists and learn more about their inspiration and techniques. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply looking for a fun day out with family or friends, you won’t want to miss this event.

‘It is wonderful to see them back on our railings again and let’s hope we get the same fantastic weather as last year!’

With so many artists signing up for this year’s exhibition it is going to be difficult to choose a favourite.

Urban Art, Josephine Avenue, Brixton, SW2 on 8th & 9th July.
