A unique chance to see an authentic Chekhov production – in English. Director Dmitrij Turchaninov, alumnus of Moscow Art Theatre School, MXT, has coupled The Bear and The Lady with the Dog, both written by Anton Chekhov.

Two people on the stage. They light a spark in the first act, and in the second they wonder through the black- and-white film of a decent life. This unlikely combination of farce and short story gives rise to new meaning: no matter what, love will always ruin your plans.
