Bright lights at the National Maritime Museum

It’s all about light at the National Maritime Museum this October half term. The museum is hosting a week of fun, interactive and family-friendly workshops in its Learning Space. Highlights this week include a celebration of Diwali with performances, arts and crafts, and a parade (October 22); a chance to make your own shadow puppet (October 23); and Guiding Lights, a workshop in which you’ll make your own mini lighthouse to protect ships from the rocks (October 28). National Maritime Museum, Romney Road, London SE10 9NF. October 22 – 30, 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm. Admission: FREE.
