Two males were stabbed in Rotherhithe yesterday evening (Saturday June 24) with an air ambulance racing to the scene and landing in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre car park.
Police were called at around 5.35pm to reports of a male stabbed in Lower Road, when they got there they said: “A second male was located nearby also suffering stab injuries. Both males have been taken to hospital for treatment.”
They did not give an age for the two, but have confirmed that ‘neither male has life threatening injuries.”
There are no reports of any arrests at this stage.
Road closures were in place and a section 60 has been put in place covering the SE16 postcode area; which expired at 03:57hrs this morning (Sunday, June, 25).
