Now in its sixth edition, the competition received a record number of over 6,100 submissions by 2,325 artists from 43 countries.

Created in 2012 by Derwent, the Derwent Art Prize rewards excellence in contemporary graphic art by showcasing the very best artworks created in pencil.

All of the works were considered by a prestigious panel of selectors: host of The Great Women Artists podcast Katy Hessel, Director of Modern Art Oxford Paul Hobson, and artist Charmaine Watkiss.

The exhibition runs from February 24 until March 6, 2022, with award-winners announced
