A number of planned roadworks will cause traffic disruption and road closures in Sutton throughout the first two months of 2026. Affected areas include Sutton, Cheam, Carshalton and Wallington.

Several organisations will carry out the planned works, including Sutton SGS and Thames Water. Several of Sutton’s major thoroughfares will be impacted by these closures and traffic measures, including Sutton High Street and the Banstead Road.
