Midcentury Modern is back at Dulwich College after a two year hiatus. The biannual show (with a sister show in Hackney) is a favourite of celebs including Andrew Garfield and Olivia Colman, architects and interior designers, with a feast of highly collectable midcentury, industrial furniture, smalls, posters and lighting, as well as stunning contemporary pieces.
Head for the light and bright double height brutalist Christison hall then back to the cloisters. Chat to 85 top dealers and designers with large stands and prices ranging from £10 to £10,000. A host of fabulous designers are on site for the first show back post lockdown including regulars Design Bros, Baines and Fricker, Hopespring Chairs and Barnby Design with stunning furniture, contemporary jewellery from the fabulous Poppy Norton and Emily Kidson, beautiful leather goods from newbies Amstein and Yussico and The Regular.
Also expect stylish lighting with Nick Hammond, Herston, Woodsmith Works and John Hollington all in attendance plus textiles from the fabulous Tamasyn Gambell and Anne Davison Studio and of course fantastic midcentury finds from the fair’s brilliant vintage dealers.
