FULHAM winger Harry Wilson is set to be out for ten weeks as he needs surgery on his fractured foot.

Wilson, 27, suffered in the injury in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at Craven Cottage last weekend. The injury will mean he misses the start of Wales’ qualification campaign for the 2026 World Cup in March.

“It’s not good news for Harry Wilson,” Cottagers boss Marco Silva said. “He needs surgery, he’s going to be out for a long period, maybe ten weeks.”

Defender Kenny Tete is also expected to be out long-term and while Reiss Nelson is on his way back it won’t be in time for the trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United on Saturday.
