AXEL Disasi feels Chelsea were unfortunate to only claim a point from yesterday’s scoreless draw at Bournemouth.

The visiting Blues were unable to capitalise on any of the chances which fell their way, meaning Mauricio Pochettino’s expensively assembled squad still only have a solitary Premier League win so far.

Defender Disasi helped ensure Chelsea kept a clean sheet on the south coast, although the Frenchman admitted Cheslea deserved more than a share of the spoils.

“Yeah, of course,” said the French international.

“When we see the game I think we deserved to win. We created so many chances but we didn’t score so the feeling is a little bit sad.

“That’s football. We have to keep going because I think also we showed some good things on the pitch but we have to kill the opponents when we have the opportunity to do it.

“We have to keep going in this way and to be more killer in the opponent’s box. We created many chances so we have to keep (doing) this, just to kill the opponent and (then) I think we will be good on the pitch.”

Disasi has been an ever present for the Pensioners since joining from Monaco this summer and feels he is improving with every appearance.

“For me it is my first year here and I feel better game by game,” he explained.

“The team is very young but I think we have a lot of quality.

“We can win every game because we have a lot of quality on this team so we just have to keep going, to work hard and to be positive for the future.

“I think I am getting better game by game. I know my team-mates better also. I think for the future it will be good.

“I will be more comfortable and confident on the pitch because my team-mates will help me a lot.

“In every game I try to do my best to help the team. I’m happy with this and I think in the future it will be good.”

Meanwhile, Pochettino claimed the outcome at Bournemouth could have been very different had Chelsea made an early breakthrough.

The Blues boss said: “In the first 25-30 minutes, we just needed to score.

“We created so many chances but that happens. It is difficult to score and then the belief of the opponent increases, but overall I think the effort was very good and the players were fantastic.

“I think only three players were there that were working with us and the rest were on international duty. It made it really difficult and now we have three or four weeks to work all together.

“It is going to be important now and to start to recover the injured players also.”
