CHARLTON have signed another Watson on deadline day – this time drafting in midfielder Louie from Luton Town on loan.
Earlier the Addicks agreed a two-year deal with defender Tennai Watson.
And now his namesake has completed a season-long loan switch from Kenilworth Road, becoming Charlton’s ninth addition of the summer.
The Irish U21 international came through the ranks at West Ham before joining Derby and then the Hatters last year.
Now the 22-year-old is looking forward to meeting his new team-mates at The Valley, although they will quickly have to get used to having a pair of new Watsons in their ranks.
Louie said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be here.
“I can’t wait to get started and integrate with the boys.
“Charlton is a young, exciting team with high ambition which is going to suit me as an individual.
“I feel like I am going to suit the team with my attributes and I feel like the other lads’ attributes can suit me as well.”
