AFC Wimbledon Cherry Red Records Stadium will host London Warriors’ next American Football League Europe (AFLE) game against Alpine Rams this Sunday.
The Dons’ hosted he Warriors’ first game of the season against Panthers Wrocław from Poland, Plough Lane’s first-ever American Football fixture.
The League One side are establishing the stadium as a versatile venue. The Warriors chose it due to the location, capacity and atmosphere. There was a 503 attendance for the opening game, which the Panthers won 41-21.
The Cherry Red Records Stadium has already hosted women’s football cup finals, rugby league and a wide range of community and private events.
The fixture against the Swiss side starts at 2pm.
