FORMER Bromley youth player Damola Ajayi enjoyed a dream debut with the second goal in Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-0 win against Elfsborg in the Europa League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night.

Winger Ajayi, 19, cut in from the right and slotted into the bottom-right corner from the edge of the box as Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs finished fourth in the group stage to reach the last sixteen in March.

Three youth products scored the goals, with Dane Scarlett, 20, and Mikey Moore, 17, also on target, the latter becoming the youngest English scorer in the history of European club competition.

Ajayi joined Spurs from the Ravens in 2022 and won an under-17 and under-18 Premier League Cup double in his first season. He signed his first professional contract in January 2024.

Ajayi signed a new deal this month until the summer of 2028 and marked it in fine style.
