BROMLEY chairman Robin Stanton-Gleaves thanked supporters after Andy Woodman’s side secured their play-off place this week with a 1-1 draw at Barnet.
Louis Dennis scored fifteen minutes from time after Idris Kanu’s 54th-minute opener.
Dale Gorman for Barnet and then on-loan Millwall defender Kamarl Grant both hit the woodwork, the latter which would have given the Ravens a 2-1 lead.
Bromley are third, two points ahead of Solihull Moors in fourth. Bromley face the Moors on Saturday and would knock them out of the race for a play-off semi-final place with a win. A victory would also mean only Gateshead would have a realistic chance of finishing above Bromley in the top three.
Stanton-Gleaves posted a message on the club’s website ahead of the weekend’s game against Solihull, who knocked them out of the FA Trophy semi-finals with a 2-1 win at Hayes Lane last Saturday.
“I write to you today, following Tuesday night’s game at Barnet, to thank all those supporters who made the trip to back Andy and the team,” Stanton-Gleaves said.
“I was there to hear the noise and atmosphere created by you all behind the goal throughout the game which far exceeded the home support. This undoubtedly helped the team show more heart and drove them to get the equaliser.
“Not only do we have a huge game on our hands on Saturday, but we will also see your support help us break through the #Project30k target, which I set back in January, it’s testament to your constant support at Hayes Lane this season. You’ve been there through all of the ups and downs and I’d like to thank each and every one of you personally for helping push us towards this milestone.
“I hope we can continue to count on your support for our final home league game of the season as we continue to strive for the targeted top-three finish.”
