The League One fixture list has been revealed for the 2023-24 season.
Charlton Athletic will kick off their campaign at home to newly-promoted Leyton Orient on August 5.
The first away league game for Dean Holden’s men comes on August 12 when they travel to Peterborough. The Posh missed out on promotion through the play-offs and will provide a stern early test for Charlton.
The final home game of the season sees Shrewsbury Town visit The Valley on April 20, with the Addicks then travelling to Wycombe Wanderers on the final day of the regular season on April 27.
Other notable fixtures include a Boxing Day match at Brisbane Road where Charlton again take on London rivals Orient. The big Easter games include a trip to Devon to play Exeter City on Good Friday before they welcome Stevenage to South London on Easter Monday.
September 9 is the first meeting with a team relegated from the Championship last season, when Charlton play Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Charlton fans will also look forward to a marquee fixture on October 21 against Reading at The Valley.
Holden will hope to get some signings over the line before the season starts in just over a month.
