LEVI Colwill will miss Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow.
Defender Colwill was absent from the Blues’ 0-0 FA Cup fourth-round draw against Aston Villa but boss Mauricio Pochettino was hopeful he would train over the weekend. But a problem with his tendon will keep him out against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Pochettino is set to be able to welcome back Malo Gusto and Christopher Nkunku.
Trevoh Chalobah is also close to a return.
Meanwhile, Pochettino was asked in his pre-match press conference about potential transfer activity before Thursday’s deadline.
He said: “At the moment, no news. It’s quiet, calm and I am relaxed. I was talking with the whole squad, meetings today. At the moment we are all relaxed about the whole situation of the squad.”
Forward Armando Broja has been linked with a move away this month.
“I was talking last week. Speculation always,” Pochettino said. “We need to live with that. At the moment, nothing to communicate. It’s quiet. All is so quiet, so relaxed here.”
