CHELSEA have signed Aaron Anselmino from Boca Juniors for £15.6million.
The 19-year-old defender has signed a seven-year contract but will remain with the Argentine side for the 2024-25 season.
Anselmino has made ten appearances for Boca, scoring once.
He came through the academies of Juventud Unida and Sportivo Realico before joining Boca when he was twelve.
Anselmino signed his first professional contract with the club on June 10, 2023, made his debut the same day against Lanus.
Meanwhile, defender Alfie Gilchrist has joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan.
Gilchrist made seventeen appearances last season and scored his first senior goal in a 6-0 win against Everton at Stamford Bridge.
