COLE Palmer has been left out of Chelsea’s Conference League squad.
Palmer is one of a number of senior players not selected by boss Enzo Maresca who is set to give some of his younger players a chance in Europe’s third competition.
Ben Chilwell is also not named but for a different reason as he has been told by Maresca that he is not in the boss’s plans as the Blues try to find a loan move for him.
Midfielder Romeo Lavia and defender Wesley Fofana have also been left out.
Chelsea start their campaign at home to Gent on October 3.
Players left out can be registered after the league stage of the competition.
