CRYSTAL Palace are set to confirm the signing of Colombian right-back Daniel Muñoz from Belgian Pro League side Genk.

Manager Roy Hodgson gave an update on the deal for the 27-year-old 22-cap international in his press conference ahead of the Eagles’ Premier League clash with Sheffield United at Selhurst Park tomorrow.

“He’s over here having medicals, but there are still one or two issues that need to be sorted out before we can say he will be a Crystal Palace player,” Hodgson said.

“We think he’d be good. We are hopeful that we’ll be able to announce his arrival very soon.”

Meanwhile, winger Michael Olise is set to be available for the game against the Blades after returning to training.
