IT was a strike that would have been familiar to Millwall supporters – as would the legendary name.

Millwall Lionesses finished their L&SERWFL Premier Division campaign with a 7-0 win against Ashford United at The Den, a result that relegated their opponents.

Academy graduate Kayda Townsend scored a hat-trick and Mia Lockett and Olivia Harris a brace each.

Harris is the daughter of Neil, who scored 138 goals for the Lions, breaking the record of Teddy Sheringham (111).

Neil liked a curling finish into the top corner with his right foot, and Olivia emulated her dad with this brilliant goal in front of an attendance of 798, a record crowd in SE16 Den since the club reformed in 2019.
