How Millwall’s record signing centre-forward earned ten euro with his equaliser against Derby County

MIHAILO Ivanovic earned Millwall a point with his late goal against Derby County on Saturday – and another ten euro from his uncle.

Serbian striker Ivanovic, 19, scored his first Lions goal on his fifth substitute Championship appearance when he ran through in the 85th minute before rounding Rams goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom to finish.

Millwall had trailed to Jerry Yates goal in the 78th minute.

Ivanovic joined Millwall for a club record £2.5million from Serbia side Vojvodina in the summer transfer window.

One of the first things he did on completing his medical at The Den on deadline day was buy Lions jerseys for his family, who have been a big influence on his career. One of those family members, his uncle Ivan, provided Ivanovic with some extra motivation when he was younger to use his weaker left foot.

And Ivanovic has obviously been working hard on it after his composed finish in front of the Cold Blow Lane end.
