MILLWALL have signed goalkeeper Matija Sarkic from Wolves for their fifth deal of the summer.
The 26-year-old had previously been linked to Stoke City but a move to the Bet 365 Stadium failed to materialise.
The Lions have now announced they have landed the keeper for an undisclosed fee and he has signed a long-term deal.
Sarkic will be able to play on Saturday when the club start the new season away at Middlesbrough.
The keeper arrived at Wolves in 2020 but has been limited to just three appearances in the cup competitions.
He has spent most of his time out on loan, having stints at Shrewsbury Town, Birmingham City and, last season, Stoke.
Before the move to Molineux, Sarkic was at Aston Villa but also found his career at the club limited to loans away.
The goalkeeper was born in England but has represented Montenegro internationally.
Sarkic will be fighting for the no.1 spot alongside George Long and Bartosz Bialkowski.
He follows Kevin Nisbet, Joe Bryan, Wes Harding and Casper De Norre as the Lions’ new signings so far this summer.
The transfer window closes on September 1.
