MILLWALL have announced the signing of Allan Campbell from Luton Town on a season-long loan.

The move comes after the departures of Andreas Voglsammer and George Evans from the club earlier today – and the signing of Ryan Longman earlier this afternoon.

Campbell has spent the last two years at Kenilworth Road and was part of the Hatters side that earned a sensational promotion to the Premier League last season.

The 25-year-old was a mainstay in the squad last season and made 42 Championship appearances, scoring three goals.

Before his arrival at Luton, the box-to-box midfielder had a five-year spell with Motherwell where he played European football.

Campbell has also appeared on the international stage and made his Scotland debut in June 2022, coming off the bench in a 4-1 win over Armenia.

His arrival will add competition to the midfield positions in the team, which currently features the likes of Billy Mitchell, George Saville and Casper De Norre.

Director of Football Operations and Recruitment Alex Aldridge said: “We’re delighted to have Allan join us. He brings with him the experience of Championship promotion with Luton.

“With George Evans departing us, the opportunity to recruit Allan to strengthen our midfield options was one that we didn’t want to pass up given his excellent performances last season and the type of character we know he is.

“Allan is very popular at Luton, both as a player and a professional, and we are really looking forward to working with him.”

Allan is the eighth signing of Millwall’s window, joining Kevin Nisbet, Joe Bryan, Wes Harding, Casper De Norre, Matija Sarkic, Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Ryan Longman.
