FORMER Millwall captain Tony Craig has left League Two Crawley Town.

The club said the parties had agreed to “mutually terminate” the 38-year-old’s contract, pending EFL approval.

Defender Craig joined Crawley in the summer of 2020 after two seasons with Bristol Rovers following his release by the Lions.

Craig made 102 appearances, scoring once, and hit a milestone last season as he registered his 700th game as a professional.

The captain of Millwall’s 2017 League One play-off winning side has been doing his coaching badges.

Craig has joined National League Dorking Wanderers after spending time there on loan last season.

Crawley said on their website: “Everybody at the club would like to thank Tony for his efforts during his time at the club and wishes him the best for the future.”
