MILLWALL forward Kevin Nisbet has been linked with a loan move to Aberdeen.
Nisbet, 27, wasn’t in Lions boss Neil Harris’ squad for their game against Bristol City at the weekend.
He came on in the 84th minute in Millwall’s opening game of the season against Watford.
Harris spoke about the lack of options on the bench in the 4-3 defeat against the Robins, but there was no official word from the club on Nisbet’s absence.
Millwall signed the Scotland international from Hibernian last summer but Nisbet struggled with injuries and form in 2023-24 and only started seventeen games in the Championship, scoring five goals.
Harris left Nisbet out of his squad for the final game of last season against Swansea City. Harris explained that was down to “a disciplinary matter about culture and standards”.
Harris added: “There’s no bigger problem moving forward. Kevin is a huge part of our football club moving forward. But it wasn’t right to involve him today so I went with the group that I did.”
And now the Daily Record report that Aberdeen want Nisbet after selling Bojan Miovski to La Liga side Girona for a record fee received of up to £6.5million.
