Be in the room for a landmark live tribute bringing the songs and music from the legendary director’s films to the stage
The visionary film-maker David Lynch is renowned not only for his surreal, bold and experimental films, but also for his musical mind, which contributed to the mystifying and disturbing beauty of their soundtracks.
Conceived by composer and musical director David Coulter, this concert tribute features a journey through the music from many of Lynch’s films and television shows, including Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, The Elephant Man, Eraserhead and Mulholland Drive, reimagined by David Coulter and his band of musicians and guest singers, including Sophia Brous, Anna Calvi, Kirin J. Callinan, Mick Harvey and Conor O’Brien (Villagers).
Coulter also worked on Double Fantasy Live for Yoko Ono’s Meltdown in 2013, which took place in the Royal Festival Hall here at the Southbank Centre.
