Drag King Debut

Character comedian Han Whyte presents her debut solo comedy drag show Roger Prick: The Book Tour (work-in-progress). This production was made possible by Lambeth Fringe and Vaulty Towers.
Han Whyte is a drag king, stand-up comic and character comedian, and the voice of 1970s Erotic Novelist, Roger Prick.
A silly, sleazy, satirical drag & character comedy extravaganza, Roger Prick: The Book Tour will explore feminism, queerness, cancel culture, the misplaced confidence of old men, and the fun of giant sideburns in one 40 minute show. Writer and performer Han Whyte said “I’m so excited to bring Roger’s story out of the alternative comedy scene and into a long-form solo piece. The character is crucially a feminist satire, but I also have a lot of love for him and his sideburns. The show explores the sleaze of the seventies, delighting in the tension between its veneer of respectability and its underbelly of grossness. I can’t wait to share the fun with a new audience!”

Roger Prick is a pornographer, ahem, “Erotic Novelist” straight out of 1975. Mysteriously transported fifty years into the future, he’s ready to re-launch his dirtiest novel, revised and reworked for the post #MeToo era. It’s modern! It’s progressive! Roger’s one of the good guys! Even if he is greasy, lecherous, perverted… and licking his lips.

Roger Prick: The Book Tour is a witty satirical comedy about feminism, censorship and the audacity of old men. The show is chiefly a character comedy drag show, but also involves drawings, costumes, audience interaction and other surprises.

Han Whyte is a character comedian and drag king. She has performed at many alternative comedy nights in London and beyond, and reached the finals of Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off 2025.
