Celebrating 10 Years with a Spectacular West End Concert
UYT will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a landmark concert event at the Sondheim Theatre, bringing together an extraordinary evening of musical theatre performances, special guest artists, and some of the most exciting young performers in the UK.
The youth theatre was originally established ten years ago following the Union Theatre’s move into new premises — a moment that marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter and the launch of what has since become a thriving and ambitious performing arts community for young people.

Founded with the aim of providing exceptional performance opportunities and professional training for young people, UYT has spent the last decade helping hundreds of students grow in confidence, creativity, and ambition — with many former members now performing professionally across the West End and beyond.
The anniversary concert promises to be a celebration of everything UYT stands for: talent, opportunity, community, and a genuine love of theatre.
Audiences can expect a thrilling evening of songs from some of musical theatre’s biggest shows, featuring large ensemble numbers, emotional solo performances, and special guest appearances from West End professionals performing alongside UYT students.
The concert will showcase performers ranging from UYT’s youngest members to alumni now working in the industry, creating a full-circle celebration of the organisation’s journey over the last ten years.
Sondheim Theatre, 51 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W1D 6BA. 21st June, 7pm.
