A man was stabbed in Herne Hill, just outside Brockwell Park, yesterday (Sunday, June 11).

Police were called to Rymer Street, a residential street off Dulwich Road, at 7.50pm, to reports of a stabbing.

They discovered a man, in his 30s, suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital where his condition was considered non-life-threatening.

There have been no arrests and police enquiries are ongoing.

The area would have been busy at the time given that the popular Lambeth Country Show in Brockwell Park was still underway.

Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6243/11Jun. To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
