Julia de Greff has announced her latest exhibition – ‘Come and meet my paintings’  – at Jeannie Avent Gallery.

Julia works very intuitively, in oil, pen and watercolour. Her paintings are of the things she loves: people, creatures, tea pots, tea cups and flowers; sometimes from life, sometimes from a photo or picture. She is influenced by Matisse, Chagall and Rose Wylie, whose home she spent time in while growing up.

Julia shows a range of styles in the exhibition, from delicate watercolours, to bolder, large oils. Work is on paper, canvas and wood.

Prices by size, starting at £50 up to around £500. There are also cards for sale and merchandise such as tea towels and tote bags with the artist’s paintings on them.

Children very welcome. Free entry for all.

Jeannie Avent Gallery, North Cross Road, SE22 from 27th May – 9th June. 11.30 -5.30pm daily.
