Seafaring adventures in SE1
Will Hartley has written, and will be performing, his one-man pirate adventure show, Cutlass.
Cutlass is a one man, stripped back, multi-character pirate adventure story about Captain Springsmile Jack who is due to hang in the morning.
But he’s got other things on his mind. Who stole his treasure? Who killed his wife and child? Revenge is a dish best served sprinkled with sea salt, blood, and a splash of humour.
Will Hartley was part of award-winning sketch group Clever Peter, with whom he co-wrote and starred in five sell-out Edinburgh Fringe shows, toured nationally, and created critically acclaimed Radio 4 series, ‘Strap In – It’s Clever Peter’. He also co-created and co-wrote ITV2/Hulu comedy drama series ‘Zomboat!’ His one-man comedy Western show ‘GUN’ went to Vault Festival in 2018, then onto Edinburgh Fringe, and toured Brazil. Cutlass is similar in style.
