Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without it
This Olivier Award-nominated festive celebration brings you seven classic pantomimes in 70 hilarious minutes.
In a madcap ride through the biggest stories and best-loved characters from the wonderful world of pantomime, our dastardly double act dash from rubbing Aladdin’s lamp to roaming the golden streets of Dick Whittington’s London and making sure that Cinderella gets to the Ball.
Written by and starring Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, who say, ‘We’re so thrilled to be back in the West End at the Apollo this holiday season! Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Potted Panto, mainly because we’ve forgotten how to do anything else in December! Seven pantos for the price of one, that’s the cost-of-living crisis sorted right there!’t’s all unmissable fun, whether you’re six or 106.’
Potted Panto had its West End premiere at the Vaudeville Theatre in 2010 and was subsequently nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment in 2011. The show has played a total of seven West End festive seasons at the Vaudeville (2010, 2011, 2013), Garrick (2016, 2020, 2021) and Apollo (2022) making it the West End’s longest running pantomime, as well as an off-West End season at Southwark Playhouse in 2019 and at Wilton’s Music Hall (2023, 2024, 2025).
Dan and Jeff’s original Potted show and other Olivier nomination Potted Potter, also directed by Richard Hurst, has been produced worldwide and is currently in residency at Theatre Gymnase in Paris as well as returning to Chicago this Christmas. The production was named Best New Show in the Best Of Las Vegas Awards, where it ran for six years, and recently premiered its first female cast as part of an ongoing world tour.
