Boanas only took over from Jack Wheeler in the summer and leaves after five games in the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League Premier Division.

In a statement, the club said: “Millwall Lionesses Football Club can confirm that Keith Boanas has stepped down from his position as first-team manager.

“Boanas has worked tirelessly since joining the club in June and departs with the very best wishes of everybody connected with the club.
