MILLWALL’S Championship clash with Portsmouth tonight at Fratton Park has been postponed due to a floodlight issue.

Ten minutes before the match was set to kick-off at 7.45pm, the floodlights and the PA system cut out in the stadium.

The floodlights came back on around 30 minutes later, and the players came back out onto the pitch to warm up.

After a farcical 25 minutes of waiting to hear whether the match would go ahead, the game was eventually postponed, likely as it would have been too late for the match to be completed in time for fans to get the last train back to London.

Neighbouring non-league club Gosport Borough also postponed their match tonight due to floodlight failure
