FORMER Millwall forward Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has signed for League One Burton Albion.
Bodvarsson, 32, has signed a short-term deal after his contract at Wrexham was cancelled by mutual consent.
Bodvarsson joined Millwall in 2019 and scored seven goals in 76 games.
He also won 64 caps for Iceland, scoring four times.
The Brewers are last in the table with just two wins in 24 games. They are elveen points off safety.
“It’s brilliant to be here,” Bodvarsson said. “I’m really looking forward to meeting up with the lads ands hopefully I can help the team to climb up the table.
“The club has a nice family feel to it and as a family man myself I can’t wait to get started.”
Burton head coach Gary Bowyer added: “I’m absolutely delighted. To have attracted somebody of his experience and his quality is a real credit to everybody. We can’t wait for him to get going because he’s going to be such a valuable player for us.”
